The following boundary conditions must be kept:

The installation place should be selected in such a way that air intake and outlet is not hampered or obstructed leaves etc.

There should be provided sufficient space for intake and outlet as well as for operation and maintenance.

Air short-circuit must be avoided. The space necessary for intake and outlet must be always provided.

Intake air must be completely free from aggressive substances like ammonia, sulphur, chlorine etc.

The installation place should not be situated under living rooms or bedrooms because of sound emission and be placed at sufficient distance from the neighboring building.

It is not recommended to install the heat pump into wall niches(air short-circuit, sound echo)

The heat pump must not be installed in a trough(in the terrain or building)

Air intake and outlet

Take particular account of the sound emissions. Local prescriptions must be observed.

Condensate pipeline

Condensate must be able to run off freely(frost protected drain.).The condensate drain must be provided on-site with an air-tight siphon of minimum height 100mm.

Wall lead through

Wall lead through for pipelines must be implemented and sealed by technicians.

Electric connections

Electric connection cables must be short, connected flexibly and be mounted by technicians and according to local prescription.

Where trace heating tapes for the condensate drain and the flow and return lines are used, they must be connected externally in accordance with applicable regulations and additionally protected by a ground fault circuit interrupter.
